Vette(s): 1971 Ontario Orange LT1 coupe, 54K miles nearly all original.
As you probably know, the "correct' paint is a semi-gloss laquer. I know POR-15 to be good, but pricy. I used a rust stopper made by permatex, sold in aerosol cans through auto stores, followed by the correct seim-gloss paint. I've had many compliments regarding the finish and no signs of any rust coming back anywhere in the 2 years since. I did not pull the body.
