Hello all,
I have copied the numbers from my trim plate but the manual is of no help trying to decipher the numbers. What I have is;
O 07C 119886
18L 39L 39U E
CHEVROLET
The 18L is unclear but it is not 181.
Any sources out there I can look at to get the right colors. The car is now black exterior but I know it was painted about 15 years ago. The interior is black (charcoal?).
Thanks for the help.

From what I read in the "C3 Buyers Guide" I think the "07C" is a July '82 build. With the last July vin # being 120227 your 119886 agrees. The 39 L &U are Charcoal Metallic lower and upper with available trim codes - 132 Silver Gray leather; 182 Charcoal leather; 74C Dark red cloth; and 742 Dark red leather.
Got me on the 18L. I though there was also a number for the actual build date in July also??????

Look again closely at the 18L...see if it more closely resembles 18I(the letter I, not a number 1), which would be for Charcoal leather interior. Most leather interior codes ended with the letter "I", instead of the number 2, as the books show.

Thank you both. That answers my questions. No I can go and order the right parts and get this beauty back to her original condition.
