Ben, very impressive.  I am knew to this life style, so I am watching your project closely.  I see you have a 'glass rear mono spring and coils up front.  Did you consider the mono spring up front too?  I am real curious since I will be starting on my car this Summer. I am in Afghanistan for a while right now.  This web stuff really allows me to figure out what I want to do first, since I can only dream about it here.

i did consider it..

i really didnt want to make that many radical mods..

that and the price of course..

i have way too many other expensive things to do

i replaced the coils with 460lb and the mono with 360 lb

Vette(s): 1971 T-top. I just had car shipped from my parents house in florida where it has sat for over 12 years..It is going to be a long project!

Im right there with you Ben.  What started out as replacing some suspension parts and engine ended up as a frame off...everytime I do one thing I find 3 more parts that I want...will it ever end!!  I did see in your pics that you painted you gas tank..Was that your old one or did you buy new one?  I have new one waiting to put in and considered it...Did you use your chassis paint??

Keep up the good work..Im following yours closlely because I dont know what Im doing with mine!!

Someday!

Sorry, don't know a thing about front page, maybe when work slows down a bit I can figure out how to get my pictures on my RR page.
