Working on my 1970 after buying it from Bubba. Tring to get outside air to the kick panel vents and the dash ball vents. After getting the cables free and the vents to open and close (Bubba had them all blocked with cardboard and duct tape) I still have no air flow at any speed. Where is the air inlet for this systm. I looked in the cowl where the windsheild wipers park but do not see any openings. What am I missing?

The air inlets for the kick panels are inside the cowl area, the extreme edge of both sides, where the fender is bonded to the body. If you look at the strip of metal, the connecting support for the lip of your fender, where it meets the windshield, and then look in to the dark area underneath it, where the inside of the fender goes down to the floor, the inlet tube is there.
