My 1969 odometer has quit working. The speedometer seems to be working fine. Any ideas of what I can do to rectify. Thanks in advance.

I have a '69 as well and while my odometer works ok, my trip odometer won't reset. My understanding is that the mechanism is quite delicate and takes a shop with qualified techs to work on them. For me...I just don't worry about it.
Since the speedometer works you know the cable is OK. You're probably going to have to remove the entire speedometer head and have a shop look at it.

I agree wid Bruce...the odo will need to be removed for repair. I have seen, sometimes, the trip odo "knob/cable" stick, and keep the regular odo from advancing, so you might want to make sure the knob will re-set the trip odo. You may want to push up & pull down on the knob, and see if it releases. If the odo still refuses to cooperate, it's time to pull it out, and have it repaired, if you want it to work.
