Well, the body's off the engine is being reworked, the only thing left in the body is wiring. Once we get all the small parts sandblasted and painted it starts going back together. Here's the question: Since it's a 69 and the wiring is 33 years old should I just replace it all? It looks good and everything worked before I started but I'd hate to get it all back together and then find out from one of you "experienced restorers" that I should have invested another grand in the wiring. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks

My .02 cents....sounds like you are trying to do your project the right way so go for it and replace the harness. It will be easier to do now then later after the car is back together. At least you will feel more confident that all the moving, shaking and making and breaking of plugs has less of a chance of damaging new wires than it does 30 year old wires.

SOunds like you are doing the right things...my 2 cents..go ahead and do the wiring...so you have NO regrets later.
