Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
I assume it requires an adapter? Does it disable tilt/tele? Does it move the wheel farther into the drivers area? How much? Thanx..   The reason I ask is because I bought a cool looking Momo, and its adapter is not only ugly, but looks strange on my black column.Wanted to machime the wheel to mount w/o the adpter, but it might've worked,if I wanted to shell out another couple hundred bucls. Nope!
Yup...the adapter is polished billet like the wheel and you can see it in the pic up against the steering column. I don't have tilt/tele, but my guess would be to say bye-bye to the tele option. It doesn't really push it that far back since the wheel has a very shallow dish compared to the stock one.
Matt, where did you get that....I would like to have one for my 31 chev
That would look awesome on a rod! Kind of reminiscent of the Maltese Cross, some called it a surfer's cross. 'member?
It definitely has a similar look to the Maltese Cross. It's actually the exact same cut as the American Racing Hopsters I have on the car...can't tell you how much I dig this wheel.
