Last year I had my car soda blasted, repainted, (base coat / clear coat), new rubber everywhere, and all the gaps aligned. Total cost was $6,000.
The catch was that he had the car from March until August. I would call him every Friday for a status report and he would always remind me that he didn't put out junk and that when it left his shop it was right.
So, hang in there, it will be worth it.

Paul, you're always after a T shirt! Its strange but I am completely at ease about this! Normally I'm climbing the wall whenever anything gets done but Lew puts me completely at ease. The whole reason it went in in December was to allow plenty of time! No rush jobs here! I only want to do this once!

How long has it been since you last saw your car? Not being hidden on purpose is it? Or was you just buggin him too much?

Can't remember when I last saw the car, ebo! The spray booth is at a different shop next to his house. It won't come back to the other shop until its time to reassemble. I'm not worried. If Lew says it's going to be right, it's gonna be right!

I agree with Ebo, Leave it till the roads are clear! Pick it up around late April / May. Then drive till the wheels fall off showing it to everyone! What a great plan!
