Back in 1994 I replaced the vinyl seat covers with leather. I changed out the carpet with new.

I replaced the old seatbelts with 1999 Firebird (F-body rear) seatbelts.

that was a long time ago and lots of wear could be seen so time for new again.

This time I bought new seatbelts from seatbeltsplus.com

The seat covers and carpet came from Corvette America, purchased from Willcox corvette parts

I had a local shop do the install of the seat covers, I didn’t trust myself.

Then I finished it all off with new floor mats from Lloyd Mats

One winter I took on recovering the seats in "The Toy".  More than anything it was a bit time consuming as I'd never done anything like that before.  But it really wasn't that difficult a job.

But to quote a fellow known for a lot of memorable movie lines - "A man's got to know his limitations."

Lloyd's mats are great.  Have purchased sets from them for "The Toy", "The Beast" and "BLKBRRD".  Very happy with all of them.

Vette(s): '73 L48 Coupe, 383, M20, A/C, Electric Windows. Matterhorn White Jet-Glo w/ Dark Blue interior. Rochester, Edelbrock, Blackjack Ceramics, Borlas w/ 2.5" mandrel X over, Cooper Cobras on both OEM Steel and Aluminum Wheels.

I too think that car looks outstanding.

And it looks like I did the same thing you did with my '73 L-48; have it appear like a calm stock Vette, but with the Heart of a Champion, only to be revealed with the turn of the ignition key. 😈

And like you, I had to have help from an upholstery shop in sewing up the seats. The Covers were too tight for me to close up. Not easy.

Happy motoring. 😉

Steve
