Help.. I'm looking for a replacement (non-original) windshield for my '72. A local company came by, removed the broken windshield, and when they went to install the new one I noticed it had a bright blue tint along the top (code GBN). My car is black and tan, the bright blue looked terrible so I asked them to take it back and find a black, tan of clear shade tint. Two weeks later and they say the ONLY shade tint is blue.. Can't be right! Any ideas as to where I might shop / order a replacement windshield with other than blue tint?

Vette(s): 1973 Stingray Coupe and C5 and C6 Coupes.
You can always try an internet search (google, yahoo, etc) for windshields and see what comes back.
I don't think you're gonna find a black or tan tint, but you might be able to find a clear windshield.

Yea you could find a clear windshield and get it tinted the way you want it to be. My rear window is a custom tint that the pervious owner did, but I like it so I am keeping it that way.

I have never seen a factory black or tan tint on a windsheild. They were all blue. Bright Blue? generally it was a bit darker. Perhaps the bright is due to the aftermarket.
