Can anyone advise where to get schematic for 79 original radio. AMFM slider bar, no tape. I took out after market unit, and previous owner butchered the wiring.
All wires are there, but I need the male plug for the back of the radio chassis, as this also takes care of the electric antenna. It has 4 speakers.
Can anyone color code these wires for me, or where they go when I find the proper plugs.
Need help locating male plug or plugs to hook up to female back of chassis. No other wires coming out of radio, and there is probably a common ground.
Thanks taking time to answer.

This is from memory I will try to find the diagram.
Red, ignition
Orange, constant power for memeory, if needed
Grey, dash lights
Black, ground
Speaker wires are in matched colored pairs.
Example" Dark Blue and Light Blue
Yellow, brown
Light Green, Dark Green
Each speaker pair can be hooked to a speaker, then adjust the radio balance to fine which is which.
Luckly, GM uses these color in all their cars for a couple of decades. I'll look for the diagram.

Normand - Thanks. I juat read your message offer.
I may have it figured out. I need help with the power antenna wiring. I am going to put up a new post to see what I can get. I acquired a very good condition, like new condition Delco stereo radio for my 79.
The previous owner put an aftermarket radio in and butchered the wiring.
Speaker wires and plugs, I am OK. On the power plug coming out of the radio I have this: Yellow/power - Black/ground -Pink/power antenna - Grey with red stripe/lamp. These are factory stamped on the wires.
Wiring from dash matches up for power and ground.
I have 2 wires left, and can probably figure out where to find the lamp. Which lamp is this ?
I need help finding the wire for the power antenna. Coming from the power antenna to the parking brake console is: white-grey-green. These 3 wires come into a plug hooked into some type of realy under e-brake handle.
Another plug next to this one has an orange and a yellow wire coming out, and going to the dash. The orange goes under the dash, and the yellow is hanging.
I have tried to hook these into the antenna circuit, then turn the radio on, and no antenna movement. It may be broken, and I will check that out.
Could one of these wires be for power antenna ?
Thanks
