So.. have gotten around to cleaning up the engine bay and have thise wire in the below pic, bad crimps, etc..  but what does it go to, reachs across the engine bay and connects up to two wires on the drivers side that look like they go inside the car.  I am thinking something for the AC that has been removed by the previuos owner.

Any idea?

It isn't the HVAC fan relay, is it?

I had something like that it was to the electric fans on the radiator.  The guy bypassed the normal circuit and had them running all the time.  Do you have electric fans?  most likely not it for your year.

Alarm relay or part of the anti-theft or starter system?

I think a lot of them (including mine, so I don't know what it's supposed to look like) have been removed/bypassed.  Otherwise; you could only start the car if you were sitting in it...

Confused

Thanks guys.. Do have electric fans but I just put them in so I don't think that's it. But I will check into the alarm stuff, the connect up under the master cylinder to two wires which look like they go back into the car. I have wiring diagrams so will check those to...

But I did snap a pic of the other end...goes into a double connector...
