PLANNING TO INSTALL A MSD IGNITION AND BOX ON 72 BB. NEED INFO ON WHERE I WOULD PICK UP THE 12V AND SWITCHED 12V. I WAS THINKING ABOUT PULLING THE 12V OFF OF THE HOT SIDE OF THE ALTERNATOR , BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE I SHOULD FINED THE SWITCHED 12V. IF I'M FORGETING SOME DETAILS PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
The battery terminal off the alt would work fine for a constant power supply. The red lead that now goes to the distributor positive (batt) connection is a good switched power for this application.
