I painted my 77 yesterday,3 coats Sherwinn Williams base coat and 3 coats Matrix clear coat.Glad to say it came out well.Deep red color, but not as deep as Merlot wine. Clear flowed out like water.I suppose next weekend I'll wet sand the car. Progress is a good thing...Another $3000.  to go or one year, whichever come first. First time using S.Williams paint,I like it,it's as good as any of them.

It sounds really good, you'll have to post some pictures when you get a chance.  I like the deep red color.  At some point I'll have to paint mine so I want to look at all my options.  Take care.

Two red paint jobs in the same week!  How could life be better?
