We Found that I'm missing a piece of my '74 while doing the interior and hope you guys can tell me what it is or how to find it....
It is on the driver side door, under the door panel itself. It is a large cover that goes over the large hole where you access the inside window and door mechanism. The actual door panel clips/velcros to the piece.
I only know I'm missing it because I have one on the passenger side.

Wow Dad, I'm impressed. Not only did you find the part, I would never imagine it could be found on E-Bay. I would of thought maybe a corvette junk yard. Good job.

It's bought and on the way...Should be here in time to put the seats and panels back in! We are close to having a new interior...hubby is doing a great job!
