I am sure I have one for one of the doors in a 76 "somewhere" around in the garage (have the entire door...

BUT check the parts intrerchange manuel for Chevys' From memory I think the regulators are common to most Chevys Pontiacs etc...

I have 6 Chevellle Doors in the garage all from 70-72...all have regulators in them IF push comes to shove and you can not find a replacement let me know...

John,

If you still need the regulator, I talked my buddy down to $60 for a C3VR member.

Jim (and Mick) - I'm going to try getting a buddy of mine to weld the sucker first. It can only not work . Although that and many other projects have been bumped down the priority list!

Update: Micki - thanks for the link Clap. I just ordered a manual window regulator assembly for $125.00 (price went up). I wanted to have another one in hand because I'm afraid if I took the existing one oout to be fixed, and had it out for a week, I'd forget how to put it back in....(just nod and say yes, John!) LOL.

Dang John. You must have more money than you know what to do with. I could have gotten you one for less than 1/2 that. LOL

You know, I must have skimmed over your post when I was re-reading the thread. Oh, well. This will be a good test for this vendor, since they seem to have a lot of other used parts. I wish I had more money than I knew what to do with - I'd be just like Jay Leno and own a billion cars! Big%20smile

Thanks for the offer Thumbs%20Up- maybe someone else can take advantage Wink.

I just caught this thread in the new incarnation...(last June my window worked fine !)

Does your friend have a regulator assembly for a '79 driver's side door with power windows ?

I've got a new motor, so that's covered, but if I can beat Paragon's $175, I'm a happy guy.....

I appreciate any help you can give

Thanks,

Roy
