Ok, here is one for yea...

I was about to make a left off a busy road when the engine stopped and the car went dead...  and I mean dead..no nothing.. no hazards .. no nothing!!! So i pushed the car into the meidan and then I looked up and there is a cop!! so he push me too ... o yea..

So here is the strange part...  Still dead ..I touched nothing and started to call AAA.. and as I did ..the car came back to life???  the hazards started to work and the radio came on ..   it started right up and i was on my way....
Confused
any ideas ???

Thanks Joe

Sounds like a fuse-link. Check all of the links by the starter, and also the connections on the starter. If the main batt. cable gets loose there, it will do it.

hmm..

My corvette shop just put in a relay at the starter because of problems I had with starting the car.

NO...
If the lights and everything were dead, the ign switch has nothing to do with that. A totally dead car is a connection loose somewhere, or a fuse link is going out. They can melt slightly and go "open", killing the circuit. Once cooled a bit, they will make contact again, and all will work fine...until the next time.
I would suggest just replacing all of the fuse links by the starter...

Had the same issue, changed the fusible links by the starter and every thing is beautiful.Thumbs%20Up
