Lost all my gauges...they light up but do work

My 76 lost every sinle gauge...all will light up but not a one works (speedo does but it is mechanical) .. ANYONE know
where I should be looking for the cause...
Also the oposite problem occured last year on my 72... gauges worked but they did not lite up...that one was the light switch itself...fast and almost easy fix...at least not expensive..

May sound like a simple question, but did you check the fuse for "Guages"? Not the one for instrument lamps, but the one for the guages
