Couple of years ago I converted my interior lights and headlights to LED's. At the gathering last week some asked what parts I used.
Interior dash:
T10 194 168 LED, white with twist lock socket, 12V. These were off Amazon, box of 10 was $8.99. the brand was YITAMOTOR but they currently don't have these right now.
note: these bulbs can only be installed one way, so before you put everything back together TEST them (I had to pull the instrument cluster and gauges back out to reverse about half the bulbs)
Headlights:
Ordered from Headlightexperts. they had great tech support. for the 82 I needed the H5006 round 5 3/4 for Low Beam and H5001 for High Beam. The headlights were identical, only difference is on the low beams you install the light with the LED panel facing left/right and the high beams are installed with the LED panel facing up/down. Also, my High Beams use 3 wire connector where as the Low Beams are 2 wire connectors. You need to have them include the 3 wire connectors (no charge).

WOW - BIG difference...!!! Will definitely check them out as the dash lights on "BLKBRRD" leave a LOT to be desired. And getting rid of the yellow night vision will be a BIG plus driving up and down the valley where I live.

Do those gauge lights dim? Can you get them in a different color besides blue?

F4Gary, Yes the LED dash lights will dim using the headlight dimmer switch. I like to keep mine brighter at night so I can make quick downward glances to check the gauges, but they will dim down to nothing. Several colors are available - I remember seeing Red or Green. Mine were sold as "White" but agree with you that they seem to have a "blue" tinge. Not sure if that is the bulb (they looked white when tested in the socket before inserting in the dash) or the dash overlay on the bulbs.

Thats great, it really improved the interior for sure! I found these as a best seller on Amazon, I ordered 4 sets for several of my cars (all in white). Ive always loved the blue LED's, but for the best viewing I stuck with white. Gotta love next day free shipping, 40 bulbs shipped to my door for $34 (the seller provides a discount with the more you buy).
I'll report back if they aren't very good. 😁

The December (2022) issue of Hemming Muscle Machines has a TECH Spotlight write up on LED lights sourced from Holley (holley.com/brands/holley_retrobright). Something to look into before next year's driving season rolls around.

Hi, Am I not seeing the Holley Retrolight site correctly? It appears the bulbs are only exterior grade. Are the interior ones available?

The Tech write-up focused on headlights, turn signal and tail lights. Poking around on Holley's site again it appears they don't have interior lights for many cars (holley.com/products/interior/lights/).
