Hummmm C7 ?

As soon as they can engineer landing gears, I think they will come with these doors but sideways; so you can take off and fly it!

Thanks Iron it does look alright, BUT this is not something that I am willing to throw out my back for everytime I want to go for ride. As I said @ 6' 2" I already have quite a time getting in and out.

Thanks again

T

At Adam's "Corvetes For A Cure" show in June of this year, I saw a '79 Greenwoood (1 of 5, or so the owner said). It had Lambo doors (they were an add-on) and looked awesome. He said $1000-1500 just for installation. I'll try to post a picture of it - as soon as I can find it. IRON82 took a good one also. Maybe he can post his. I, too, think exterior color is a major factor in how they look.
(Found the picture, nut can't figure out how to post it)

I second the restricted access- I  like the idea of "gull Wings" like Mercedes and Delorean . At least you could get in and out fairly easily.

Long story short - I'll keep my doors the way they are

I think they are pretty cool looking.  And you wouldn't have to worry about touching the car next to you while you were trying to get out!!

I think they are really a neat door.  But I don't want them.  To each his own.

Dale, I see you have the big block hood on your 77. Where did you purchase it from. Did you have much problem with the fit / latches?

Oh yeah, no to the Lambo doors as well. They look good on the car pictured above. For me I would put the $1500 elsewhere. Although I do like the thought of the doors not swinging out in the parking lot scenario.

Cool as they might be, not on a C3.

Maybe a custom or modified C3, but not on a stock C3.
