I'VE DECIDED TO ATTACH THE RED L48 EMBLEM TO THE HOOD OF MY 78 SILVER ANNIVERSARY CAR. ANYONE WITH AN L48 OR L82 EMBLEM - CAN YOU TELL ME HOW FAR DOWN ITS LOCATED ALONG THE RIDGE OF THE HOOD?

its 10 inches from the center of the hood to the top of the letters. and its 6 3/4 inches from the top of the hood. the 6 3/4 is measured from where the hood starts to slant not at where the cowl is. hope this helps
