It's a personal preference...it's your ride. But you asked for opinions, therefore I vote for staying stock.

I like the daytona style, gives an already unique car even more uniqueness LOL. I vote for that.

Keep the stock appearance but have something under the hood that will surprise 'em. Wink

And I thought this died a long time ago.  I'm still debating bumpers but the priority now is finding a storage spot for it. I am moving the car next weekend spot or not.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

I'm all for keeping the stock appearance but appreciate the modified ones as well (big help aren't I?).  Saw Marion's (eurodesk) "MY VICE" this summer and really like what he has done with his car.
 
All the references above to damaging the nose are right on tho', for most any car.  I have to be careful with both "The Toy" and "The Beast" on driveways and unusual road blips so it really doesn't matter whether the front is stock or modified.
 
And as most have said to this point - it's your ride so build it up the way you like it.
 
btw - I personally don't like the hood on the blue car.  Just not a fan of the flat high risers like that one.  A 'stinger' or an L-88 style look nicer IMO.

It's your ride so do what makes you happy, but I got to vote no on the bumpers. I can't remember who's ride on here had the bumpers glassed into the body??? There was no seem between the bumper and the body and to me that was the best body mod I have ever seen. Very subtle but really made a difference.

After the Carson City trip Marion's car had a lot of damage to the lower lip of that front end, one corner had the fiberglass broken up pretty good.
Those front ends are too low!

  Or You could split the diffrence. Keep the Stock Bumper and put an aftermarket Airdam under it. That way when You munch it You can remove it for Repair and still Drive the Car without it. My 2 cents . Richard...
