Lots of resin, matting and sanding. Saw it done once - didn't look right. Thumbs Down

Is it possible? Certainly. Economically feasible? Not so much.

Ha ha Louis your thinkin like Evil Smileebo......whats up wid dat?Confused
I have a decent used front bumper and was holding it up to my front nose on my 1980 project car. It looks do-able you would need some fab'in to give it some strenght. I had two thoughts one to cut it right in pretty tight and the other to space it off the nose just a bit. I'm going to change out the nose on the car anyhow.
Right now the chrome bumper is hung over my work bench as a display piece, so most likley I'll try it anyhow, in the end it may be just a bigger piece hangin over the work bench LOL.
Heh your in vegas! take a long shot!Wink

Lewis, take Ebo's advice while ur in Vegas. I think your luck will be better on the slot machine than trying to put chrome bumpers on a 77. LOL

lol.... you guys are funny... this makes me just wanna buy that '77 and do it later on. Im sure using a fiber glassed based material to remat called DURAGLASS and a lot of resin its do-able. There is a place in Bell flower, CA called J & D corvette, they make all vette bumpers out of bier glass. Thats how I got the '81 taill molded into my '77 and the '77 fully fiberglass on the front molded in with 0 seams and no structural support behind them.. (less wait for racing ;)  ) I love projects!
