Saturday I am going to put back together the interior on my 77. Does someone have a procedural order for re assembly of parts? Does carpet have to go in first because of the console side pcs(long vinyl covered cardboard)? Or does lower dash and center console go first and carpet last. Thanks,Mikeee

I would suggest installing the carpeting first, since some of it fits up under some of the other pieces.

Mike,

This isn't Gospel, but it worked for me.

Insulation & carpet
Ductwork
Upper Dash
Left (gauges) side dash - steering column in but not bolted in
Forward shift console (in place but not secure)
Center gauge cluster - attach lower bolts to forward shift console
Right side dash
Complete forward shift console install
E-Brake console

Personally, the left side dash is the biggest pain, be mindfull of the ductwork, vacuum hoses & harness, they all have to fit back there.

Good luck,
Anthony
