Vette(s): 1971 White T-tops with Saddle leather interior 350/270HP with a 4 speed trans
I have some replacement parts that need to be painted to match the interior.
I purchased paint from Corvette America for a 1971 t-top dark saddle interior.
the paint does not match.
any suggestions for the best source for paint matching???

Unfortunately, unless you have a black interior, spray dyes rarely match interior parts exactly. Age tends to discolor original parts, so even tho you may have the perfect color formula for the dye, your other interior parts have faded, or otherwise changed color over the years. Of course, if the dye you got is ridiculously off color, then I would have to have a conversation with the supplier, and se what they say. Unhappy

Fade may be your problem Paul. I purchased the medium saddle spray dye from CA and it was a very good match. You may have to dye everything you need to so it all matches.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I had to even dye the new dash for mine.  I got the color code number and went to a local body supply shop and they mixed it up for me. For a little more money they would have put it in a spray can.

I have an air source so I went to harbor Freight and purchase a touch up spray gun. If you want a match you may have to do everything.  The other option is may be a local body shop supply place can match it for you.
