Hi guys and gals,

Just bought my first C3 (have had 5 58's and 59's), a 1973 Coupe.   So I am still trying to figure it out, as it appears to be all original (except for paint - wheels).   Data I've found so far only has leather and vinyl as the interior options that year, but my "new" one has very nice cloth.    Was this a custom interior done by the first owner who also had the custom paint done as soon as he bought it, or was cloth an offered option from GM?

Thanks kindly for any clues.

Cloth was not available on Sharks untill 1977. Yours was probably done at the same time the other custom work was done. Check the "trim plate", on the driver's side by the dash(on the side, you can see it when you open the door), and post what you find as far as numbers, etc., and that will tell you when the car was built(assy. date), the paint code, and what type/color the int. was originally.
Man! I really like that car! The wheels don't do anything for me, but the rest looks so cool! Can you get a pic of the int.?

Great info on the int. AA - thanks.  Wheels don't do it for me either, but an easy fix once I figure out what to replace them with.   Got lots of pictures of it.  Here's a couple of the interior.   It also started life with an "Elvis" mural on the rear deck, very well done but it was removed or painted over along the way by the original owner.   I have snapshots of the mural - will have to get them scanned.

Nice to see someone else likes the new ride a much as I do, and I haven't even see it in person yet.   Monday

I agree Ron - Joel.   Wheel's need a make-over.   Started a new thread up in "General" asking for suggestions.   Please go there and lay some opinons on me, and thanks.

Appreciate the comments Ron - its a looker for sure and in near mint condition.   Very happy to have found it (just heard it's on an enclosed transport as of this morning and on the way).  Come-on Monday!
