My cousin has an 81 and his interior door pull has a chrome "plate" that sits between the skinny part of the pull and the door panel. It's diamond shaped, maybe 1.5" by 1.5". Anyone ever seen this on an 81? I've never even seen a picture of this pc let alone seen one on a car. He swears it's original and I'm no expert by any means.

My 81 does not have that!! It is Original as far as I know!!!!

I am going to get a picture of it next week and post it, maybe someone will know. Just a curiosity to me.
