I removed the carpeting from those panels on my 79. be careful. some of the panel stayed attached to the carpeting when I did. I'm sure you can use the old one as a template top make new ones if necessay. if not, one of the catalog houses should sell replacements.

I am in the process of doing mine now. I'm using door skin in place of that fiber stuff it came with. Just as flexable but more durable. I'm in the process of putting the insulation in. I'm using reflex from Home Depot. Mine is an 80, over the wheels there is what looks to be some type of fiber inside clear plastic that I suppose is for sound. The original carpet just seemed to lay against this and then went up. It wasn't glued anywhere above wheel. Anyone know how this should be attached or is it loose. A picture of the rear would be great. Thanks
Mike

Years ago I replaced just the rear in the 78 that I had at that time. Battery acid burns. No glue at all, just tucked in, speaker covers held it and I think it just clipped or screwed on under the package shade. Mike
