I've been looking through old posts, and found the link to Ssnake-oyl.com. I gave them a call and they sell factory replacements (3 point) for roughly $750.00 each. I can get 3 point generic belts for $100.00 a set. Has anyone used these in 71 vette? Any problems or issues? Looking to stay alive, not win car shows.

I may have answered my own question. Looked again at all the options in previous posts - ssnake-oyl, ebay and refurb, F-body belts, originals, etc. I found a post I had missed that referred to Andover - andoauto.com. I ordered the lap belts - my seats don't have the cut-out on top for the shoulder belts. I was talking with the guy and he said a lot of seats have the slit on the inside, it just needs to be exposed and trimmed out. I'll look into that when I go to get the seats recovered.

Vette(s): 1972 elkhart green T-Top, New paint, one previous owner, 370hp/350, hookers/flowMasters. Original PW,PS,PB,AC. All docs.
I ended up putting in an F-body 3 point (used on ebay, but in great
shape), works fine. Used the original bolt areas. Hope to get the original
belts fixed someday though....

Same here; I had a lazy retractor on the driver side. Still have 'em. I'll try to fix them one day.
In the meantime; I got a set of generic 3 points. Used the original bolt as well. Works fine by me. Spent about 200$. (Could have been 250; that was sooooo 1 year ago.)

I have done the F-body seat belt mod to mine and for the money, if being factory correct is not a problem, they are the way to go.
