I had a simular problem. Recheck your wires to the plugs. I crossed two of mine and pulled my hair for months, changing the timing, heat range on plugs only to have a friend point out that i crossed two. I was humbled by my mistake.

Well, I think I got it fixed. I appreciate everyones advice. Let me tell you what all I did. I started by re-gapping the plugs to 45 thousands, but when I removed them, I found that they were bleached white, too hot of a plug. So, I put the old ones back in, gapped at 45 thousands and have 10 degrees of initial timing and 35 degrees of total timing. I put in a blue and light silver spring, should have total advance around 2800-3000 rpm. Not only does she run good, but she runs cooler. I had already checked the voltage on my ignition lead and have a full 12 v both before and after starting. Thanks again for all the help,
