I'm looking for a recommendation on what type of ignition wires to buy for my 350 L82 1979 Vette. I have 8mm premium wires on it now but they need replacing and these tend to back out at times. Any help would be appreciated.

Vette(s): 1973 Orange Metallic Coupe (orig owner), L82, 4 spd (WR), PS, (A/C & PW (I installed from wrecked 73)), leather, AM/FM Stereo, ran with '65 FI unit earlier & will again some day. 2023 Accelerate Yellow HTC Stingray
The last brand I remember buying was Sorenson which were spiral wound stainless wire on a carbon core but I don't know if they are still around. But they were good wires.

I have Taylor wires and they seem to do a great job so far.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

For my money it would be Taylor wires. They have the lowest

amount of OHM resistance (about 50 ohms/ft.) and are heat resistant  somewhat.

Locate all wire suppliers to find resistance per foot and use the lowest...Lower the ohm's resistance more voltage to the plug and better ignition..

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
Street fire are also low resistance. Seem to work well. If you do a cross fire cap, Taylors work very well.
