Vette(s): 1973 Corvette Coup

Greetings Folks :)

I have a 1973 Vette without tilt and need to replace the ignition lock. Upon taking the steering wheel off and disasembling the column to the point at which I thought I could have removed the old lock I found no way to remove it.

Does anyone here have any experience with this?

Thanks in advance for any help you good folks can provide.
