Yesterday I got my 81 ready for mothballs till spring. I took her out for a final 1hr ride and wished it was May again. I gassed up and no sooner then I pull out of the station, I drive the final 2 miles home with the battery light and buzzer and the choke light on. SHut her off, put on a coat of wax and buzzer still there. I pull it into the garage buzzing and 2 secs later all is normal. Is something loose?

Could be a loose nut behind the steering wheel...
I'd check the battery connections...sounds like it thinks the key is off, but still in the ign. It could be the wiring connection coming out of the bottom of the column, or the ign. switch itself.
