Anyone have success getting the cap, emblem and retainer together?  I suppose I could drill and put in a rivet but I was hoping something like JB weld or the like.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I just glued it with hot glue

What do you need a horn for.   After I've hit mine two or three times trying to find it's "sweet spot" the emergency has passed!

OK, here's an update. I couldn't find the glue gun so I started working on other small jobs on the car. Most of it became annoying so I started drinking. Reread this post and took Joel's advice and tried using the welder and now all I have left is a pile of ash... Not really, just a little joke...very little.
