hoods

 Is it O.K. to post a link to deals/price cut on aftermarket hoods ????  I posted at another vette forum and they deleted it because it was a non-supporting vender.

Just make sure you are getting what you are paying for, not some cheap imitation poor quality version.

I bought an L-88 Hood from Ecklers and I think it fit better than the stock hood did!!  Ecklers does have 10% sales every now and then... luckily I went to purchase mine at the time they were having a sale.

I believe you can post info on a company you are trying to buy from, and ask for input, and post either a positive or negative outcome...no straight advertising, or "plugs" for a company not associated with the forum. It can be a fine line sometimes, but if you have questions about a certain supplier(s), you can ask for input.
Adam can confirm or deny my take on this...when all else fails...read the destructions!!

  I tried getting an Aftermarket L-88 Hood in a Pressmolded OEM Style. I checked with the Two big Manufacturer's of Hoods and Two Small Ones. I ended up Finding a Used OEM in Great Shape. For what the OEM ones are selling for I'm suprised that No one has a Reproduction Press Molded One.

As the agreement states...posting the link you posted is fine as long as you are in no way affiliated with the business and do not make a profit from their sales.

Have you bought an L-88 hood yet ?
