hey guys,
i moved this subject over to here from the parts for sale hood/ spoiler
topic.
i said i would post some pics of the under side of the hood i have on my vette plus a pic of the blue one i have hanging on my garage wall.
the blue hood came off a 68 427 roadster i had back in the early 70's. it had a 427, chrome hooker header side pipes, m-22 rockcrusher 4 spd, gymkana suspension, fly eye air cleaner, 3:08 rear end. the engine had over 600 hp , it was a monster !
i buried the speedometer at 160 and it was still increasing in speed.
i wish i still had it
but i kept the hood off it because i never saw one like that before.
the hood in primer (tan) came with the beast i have now.
its got the opening in the back for the cowl induction, so i would not open up the front. ( i do like the open front the best though)
the blue hood is open in the front and the back is closed off. i have never seen one like this before. i like the looks of it so when i sold the vette i kept the hood.
