This is the same stuff I put on mine but it appears they didn't A. Cut it to fit the hood well and,,, B. Definately didn't us any 3M adhesive under it in conjunction with the original retainers. Results appear to be hangin down everywhere... 
Mine fits nice and flush. It follows the contour of the hood underneath with no sag.
I was lookin for the aftermarket look since I am already past OEM and on the road to point of no return.
