Anyone ever remove/replace the lens on the heater/AC control Mines a '73. I have it apart but seems to have something holding. Any tricks ?

Well if anyone needs to know.. I have just gotten mine apart, and it was one trick. There are 3 tabs holding the faceplate to the housing. Easiest to remove completely from console. I did not have to take the small line off the two wheels as It stayed in tact... ordered a new lens and should be back in soon. When finished.. the complete console will look new...radio faceplate lens, gage cluster lens, A/C vents too etc, Just a slow process having never done it. Not too difficult tho
