Vette(s): 77 lost along the way/ 73 4spd coupe, just purchased and in process of resto.

Looking for someone who has installed the foil backed jute material heat sound deadner.  I bought the front and rear, but can not figure out where two of the pieces go in the rear, I know it sounds simple, but, man frustration.  The two pieces are identical with a slit cutout to go around something and a flap cut out to enable access to something after installation.  I am in the general area, but, can not get a fit that satisfies me or makes sense for the pre-cuts.  Is it me or am I not "putting the puzzle together correctly".  I plan on checking some out at Carlisle this weekend, but, thought maybe someone had installed this particular brand.  And I swear there were no directions, wife ask me "several times" about those directions.

thanks

Sorry man I bought mine in a roll and cut it to fit. Even did the inlaid portion of my hood underneath. I would say if you have it close cut it and go. No need to be frustrated about something that your gonna cover up with carpet. It will still get the job done.

A picture sure would help. Maybe they go on the sides above the rear wheel wells. The cutouts would then go around the rubber drain hoses for the rear deck vent box, That is if your car has that.
