Should headlights come on w/out motor running,when I pull headlight switch on? Don't care now about doors opening,only lights working.

Do you mean the headlights lighting? Then yes. If you're talking about the lights raising, then sometimes. Depends on how much vacuum is stored. Mike

Yup...the lights should burn, whether the doors are up or down, and whether the engine is running or not.
