unfortunately, i ordered the lights from ebay. they didn't fit because they were too deep. they seem to have a rather long body in the back and by the time you added the bulb and the weather boot there was no way they were going to fit in there. i did find another set that was clear and the depth was much shorter, but i didn't go any further with that. :(

I agree with David. I guess as long as they do not say " direct replacement " or " no modification necessary ", they can get away with pretty much anything. No doubt thye have a lawer on retainer !

Don't know if anyone is still chasing the replacement lighting issue, but in the December issue of CORVETTE FEVER there is a article titled NEW ENLIGHTENMENTS. It covers lighting upgrades from Sylvania for every year, except C5s. I checked the CF website but there is just a mention of the article, nothing else. But the article did give a site for Sylvania (click here) and I eventually found the upgrade kit the article referenced for all Sharks (click here). Looks like a good solution, if you don't mind parting comapny with some semi-serious cash.

Wow, that is a kinda big bite outta the ole wallet! But, if ya gotta see, then ya just gotta see
.
I might put those on hold for a while. Now that I have the '93,I will be driving the '69 to work less often. It will still remain a consideration for next summer for cruise nights.
