Vette(s): 1981 - 59 Beige over Cinnebar leather. Edlebrock top end, 2200 stall w/shift kit, 3:55s, Mufflex maniback exhaust, nice stereo, 16 in AREs w/BFGs
I have to change the switch in my 81.  Which screws get un done, I heard only a few not all of em.... Also, how do you get the pull stalk out?  THANKS!!

Behind the dash,at the front of the switch,there should be a little spring loaded metal button,push the button in while pulling out on the shaft it should slide right out

Kevin, you can pull the dash cluster out, or take the top dash-pad off, to get to the switch. I think it's easier to take the top pad off, myself, but others may not. You have to get to the back-side of the switch to get to the spring-loaded "pin" to release the knob. Make sure you disconnect the batt., because the lights will be on when you take the knob out.
