Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.

Just finished rebuilding the innards of the headlight mechanisms. The doors were not aligned great to start with. Wondering if it is just the 5 mounting bolts that give play to get the doors centered in the openings?

Here's a couple of pics of my handy work:

Thanks for any ideas here.

Yes, but.....this should be in the "Body" forum.
The service manual, and the AIM(assembly instruction manual) give the adjustment procedures.
(I could try to 'splain the procedure, but it wouldn't make any sense to anyone but me...and it would involve a large hammer, and a prybar! )

btw....the work looks good!!! Adams' Apple38896.8386111111

Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.

There are 3 screws per side that hold this bearing into place on the body. Use these to align the bucket lid. There isn't much room but it will work. I am not a very good artist but you get the idea.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.
