Hi guys.
Is there anyone out there that can show me an actual picture of the screw (and location in the headlight assy) that would allow me to adjust the final closed position of my headlight door?
my driver side sits about 3/16 low into the body of the car.
I keep seeing posts that say "its the screw by the knuckle... yada, yada, yada..." but no one shows where it is.
I need to see a picture of the exact screw.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

Someone here posted some really good shots of the headlight assemblies a while back. They were rebuilding them, and had some nice shots of the assemblies upside down on a bench, with all of the working parts right out in the open, for all to see. I copied them for my "library", but I cannot find them. They were prolly on one of my older 'puters that took a dump.
I do have back-up discs that may have them, but I'll have to search. You MIGHT try searching the forums for "Headlights", and see what comes up...the pics should still be in the thread...wherever it is. It was a couple of years ago....
Then again...who-ever posted them originally may pop up and repost....

On one of my many Google searches, I came across a post in a forum thread
that said "corvette central" has a good pic of it in their catalog (one of the assembly pics).
I see the assembly pic but Im still not sure which bolt it is.

Awesome! That's exactly the pic I have been searching for.
So the housing stops on the head of that bolt then? so I guess I just turn it out to
push the door up and tighten to drop the door into the body.
thanks again!

Thanks Larry! In the pic, the lower bolt I have circled is the one Larry points out. The upper one I have circled also adjusts the headlight opening limit, so there are more than just one adjustment that can be made.
