My S.A. seems to be original in most every way except the seats. I have 79-82 seats in my car.

If my car is a late build 78, is it possible that GM placed these seats in some of the late 78's? The covers have the two inch width from the pleats to the triple stitch.

I realize some people switched out their older C3 seats for these more comfortable ones. The seats are suprisingly comfotable for a grandpa and regardless, they'll stay right where they're at.

The '78 Pace Cars were the first cars to use the seats like the '79-up cars had. A lot of people swapped them out. I've never heard of these seats being used on any other '78 from St. Louis. Never say never...

Thanks Joel......Your most likely correct.

Thanks to Mike, I Just found out the car was built in Feb. Not bloody likely those seats are from the factory.

Some owner had a tender butt like mine. I'd like to find him/her and give thanks.
