HARD TOP HELP

I need some help with my hard top hardware.  I am not sure what all is required to attach the hard top to the car.  I have three levers at the windshield, just like the soft top, but after that I am a little confused.  I see two bolt mounting points at the back edge of the doors, but what about the pins that go into the deck lid?  My top does not have any, I see where some should be, but the ones from the soft top will not transfer.  Can someone clue me in as to what part this is and where I can get them?  Thanks,

I'm not a vert guy, but, I believe there should be two pins/studs on the hardtop, that go thru the decklid, with nuts to hold it on there. The soft top uses some type of clamp/latch on these, iffin I remember correctly.
Hopefully, someone with a hardtop will get you the correct info!

Joel is right, it is a bolt type stud with threads on both ends, it screws into the hardtop and then is screwed under the deck lid with a nut and a retainer. Any of the major suppliers should have them.

Well I have a 68 with a HT like you & it goes on just like the soft top. I'm not sure if the pins are interchangeable with the softtop. call riks corvettes or some other vet suppliers, I,m sure they'll know.  I also have the mounting points just behind the door & there's nothing to attach them to on the car.

I think this is another one of those '68 only deals.  My research into parts has only brought up more questions.  Thanks knotacare for the idea on riks, those guys know a lot about our cars.  I let youall know what I figure out.

On my 68, the pins at the back are just for alignment and don't latch like the soft top. The brackets on each side have a specia; fastener to secure the back. The 'verts even came with a special wrench to remove them. It's just a 7/16 hex if I recall. I'm not aware of any differences between the 68 and later years.

dave12, My hardtop does not have any pins in the back.  Do they resemble the ones on the soft top?  The bolts on the side are just 7/16 hex and I have that part figured out.  I was just thinking that the rear needed something to tighten the seal.  However, if they are for alignment only, I can get by without them.  What do you think?

Mine in the back looks just like the soft top & since I replaced the rubber on the hard top it seals pretty good. No wind noise at all. As long as it's secure I don't see any problem either way. Mine is very easy to get on & off though.
