Mama had Earl paint her 'Maro a few years back...got one right around the corner from the house here. She took it in one Friday morn...we picked it up that evening...still well as h@#l!!!
Black enamel! I had to point out to her that they fergot to do the ground effects silver, as it was to start with...she looked confused, then said..."Heeeeey?!?!? wtf???" She went back inside and ripped them a new one. They squirted the silver on right then and there! .....didn't even mask off the other stuff...just ran a 2" piece of tape down them, and shot it!

Took almost two weeks for the dam thing to dry to touch...by then, it had bird crap all over it!

Ahhhh....the memories....

Anyone that paints a Vette with a roller should be shot! Speaking of Earl Sheib, my Dad had his 1960 Ford Falcon Station Wagon painted (blue)there and he got one free repaint after it started to peel. This was in the late sixties early seventies in Sothern California. I guess they didn't really sand or prime it.
