Haybail, my '73 has two ground wires up front for the lighting and electrical system. One is down low on the drivers side where the wiring harness goes between the inner fender and the radiator support, it attaches near the bottom of the support. The second is up between the headlights on the header bar that is bonded to the under side of the nose. That's also where the headlight vacuum regulator(s) and horns are mounted. It's basically under the front body panel where the hood comes to a point in the center. Open the hood and follow the wiring harness on the drivers side, it should lead you to both ground wires. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Thanks again I found  both grounds, took them out cleaned the screws, star washers and cable holder end with electric wire brush and sanded and cleaned where the screws go in. I'm in good shape now, and have a great weekend.
