How do I remove the glove box lock, in order to replace the glove box door cover? My lock is very loose but I need help with R & R. Thanks...

Don't hold me to this, but many GMs require the key to be in the lock, then it can be rotated slightly and a pin or paperclip put in from the backside to release a lock pin or tab. With this pushed in the lock slides out, then the latch can be removed.
