I have an annoying problem with my glove box door on my 78. The right hinge mount is broken. How common is this for C3’s and what are my repair options?

I'll bet mkapp7879 has an answer for this!

The hinge is OK; just below it are the 2 screw holes on the lower part of the dash that are broken and split that it’s supposed to attach to.. These screw holes are part of the dash so I will probably need to make a bracket or something that can use nearby screw points. There’s one just to the left of these two holes. (not pictured).

You might try some epoxy on the place where the screws go into the dash. Build the area up a bit, and shape it to conform to generally the same as it was before(or compare to the other side). Once that hardens completely, drill the holes for the screws, and carefully screws them in to make threads.
There are several types of epoxy that would work for this. Two part epoxies specifically for plastics. It's worth a try.
